Kyoto with no plan (until we had one)
The ROVE desk
Kyoto with no plan (until we had one)
We landed with a list of screenshots and no idea what was next to what. Three temples and two missed trains later, we stopped pretending we'd wing it.
The pin pile
Every place we'd saved for months — a shrine, a noodle bar, a bamboo grove — all dumped on one map. The distances were worse than we feared.
Dragging days into order
ROVE grouped them by neighborhood and transit time. Day one became a walk, not a series of taxi rides.
The payoff
We saw more, ate better, and argued zero times about logistics. The trip finally felt like the trip.
